In a rural area called Sinazongwe on the shores of Lake Kariba on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe lies a village spread out in lush surroundings. The people walk up to 3 hours to the nearest medical facility as they have no supplies, equipment, or medicine other than for minor pain relief. Our walk in Santa Monica represents their walk for life. The money raised will go directly toward buying a vehicle that will bring medical professionals and supplies to these African people in need.
